Brunnings Kikuyu needs less water to survive than most other lawn varieties and grows in nearly all soil types. Unless like most common lawns, Brunnings Kikuyu is self-repairing so that even damaged areas will re-establish over time.
Brunnings Kikuyu also contains a nursery cover of "easy to establish" lawn specific turn annual ryegrass to provide early germination and greening in 7-10 days while allowing the slower germinating Kikuyu time to establish. Eventually the Kikuyu will take over the entire lawn.
